Car electrical problems we fix
Modern cars run on electronics — dozens of control modules, sensors and kilometres of wiring. When something electrical goes wrong, the fix depends on tracing the fault properly, not swapping parts until it goes away. Our auto electricians handle:
- Car won't start — battery, starter motor, ignition switch and immobiliser faults
- Battery keeps going flat — alternator output, charging faults and parasitic drain testing
- Warning lights — check engine, battery, ABS, airbag and other dashboard lights
- Wiring faults — damaged, corroded or heat-affected wiring and connectors
- Sensors — oxygen, airflow, temperature, crank and cam sensors
- Lights, windows, locks and accessories that have stopped working
- AC electrical faults — fans, relays, pressure sensors and climate control
Computer diagnostics, then proper testing
A fault code tells you which system has a problem — not always which part. We start with a full computer diagnostic scan of all the car's modules, look at live data, then test the suspect component and its wiring with a multimeter before recommending anything. That way you pay for the fault, not for guesses.
Battery and charging system testing
UAE heat is hard on batteries, and a new battery that keeps going flat usually means the real problem is elsewhere. We load-test the battery, check alternator output under load, and measure current draw with the car switched off to find hidden drains. On many newer cars the new battery also needs registering to the car — we do that too. Read why car batteries die so fast in the UAE.
