ABS warning light repair
When the ABS light comes on, the anti-lock braking system has switched off. Your brakes still work, but the wheels can lock and skid in an emergency stop — and on many cars traction and stability control switch off too. We connect directly to the ABS module, watch live wheel-speed data and test the circuit at fault.
- Wheel speed sensor testing and replacement
- Sensor wiring and connector repair
- Tone ring inspection
- ABS pump and control module diagnosis
- Brake fluid level and brake system checks
Airbag (SRS) light repair
If the airbag or SRS light stays on after start-up, the airbag control module has found a fault and, on most cars, has disabled some or all of the airbags. Clearing the light without fixing the fault leaves you unprotected — so we find the actual cause.
- Clock spring (steering wheel airbag connection) diagnosis and replacement
- Seat and seatbelt buckle connector faults
- Seatbelt pretensioner and crash sensor faults
- Passenger occupancy sensor faults
- Post-accident SRS repair and crash data clearing
Done safely, done properly
Airbags are explosive devices, and SRS repair has to follow the correct power-down procedure. ABS and SRS faults are stored in their own modules, which a basic code reader often can't access. We use full diagnostic equipment to read each module directly, test circuit resistance before replacing parts, then clear the codes and confirm the system's self-check passes before the car leaves.
After a collision, cameras and radar may also need calibrating — see our ADAS calibration service. More detail in our guides to the ABS warning light and the airbag (SRS) light.
